Most people aren't going to bother review bombing if their efforts aren't going to be seen. The verified audience score is what people look at. How many people even know that the "all audience" score is a thing?
So what I'm reading is that studios only pretend to care so they can get brownie points for having standards and then they later quietly undo them behind the scenes.
Based on the way season 1 ended, I'm expecting season 2 to focus around Skull Island. I wonder what the spin-offs are going to be about though. I kinda want to see Bill Randa in the 1940s.
