  1. I've read lots of stories over the last few years that if Trump lost the election all the old guard media would go back to either losing money or barely breaking even. I guess Trump postponed their inevitable demise. What gets the most eyeballs and traffic now? Conflict. And Trump is the epitome of conflict, lol.
  2. Well you do post a lot of dumb shit(especially in relation to anything Cameron) so forgive me if I thought you were being serious.
  3. Member when the Oscar ceremonies had class and weren't like the TV equivalent of trashy clickbait articles/tabloids? Oh ye I MEMBER!
  4. 2000: Gladiator, fantastic win. "Are you not entertained?" Academy: "ah fuck it, yes we are" 2001: A Beautiful Mind, respectable win but FOTR deserved it more. 2002: Chicago, never seen it and never heard about it since so TTT probably deserved it more. 2003: ROTK, great and historic win for being the one and only time a fantasy won and will probably the last time a major epic will in BP. 2004: Million Dollar Baby, kinda forgettable but not an embarrassing win IMO. 2005: Never seen Crash but it seems to be the BP winner everyone loves to hate the most 2006: The Departed is one of my favorite movies of all time so great win 2007: No Country for Old Men is another favorite and glad it won over the boring as fuck There Will Be Blood 2008: Never seen Slum Dog Millionaire 2009: A weak year thus The Hurt Locker winning, would've preferred District 9. 2010: The King's Speech, never seen it. 2011: The Artist = LOL 2012: Argo is a good win but it doesn't make Ben Affleck an expert on the region. His infamously dumb meltdown on Real Time battered his image for me. 2013: 12 Years a Slave is a good win but its a 1 and done deal for me, too fucked for repeat viewings 2014: Birdman, enjoyable and first superhero movie to win an Oscar! 2015: Spotlight, good respectable win 2016: Only one of the nominees I've seen this year is Hell and High Water(the only one that really appealed to me) and I get the distinctive feeling that its far too entertaining to win.
  5. It Follows is really great. The Witch was one the bigger disappointments I've seen recently after all the hype, I was so goddamn bored. And Cabin in the Woods is a horror movie? I feel like I've been watching terrible un-skippable ads for Get Out on youtube for months, really surprised at those reviews.
  6. Speaking of Game of Thrones, I hope Tolkien's The Children of Hurin gets made one day. Game of Thrones fans will like it because its an epic Dark Fantasy featuring incest, gore, torture, the tragic fate of a family over the course of an epic struggle, a morally ambiguous dwarf, lots and lots of grey morality, and an all powerful evil encroaching from the North with a serious downer of an ending.
  7. By hysterical you mean mentally ill? Her weird ramblings and obsessions were sometimes entertaining back on BOM and for the first few years here I guess, but she got progressively worse and started routinely posting fucked up shit.
  8. Lol at that Great Wall gross. Matt Damon and the filmmakers should've consulted Donald Trump about marketing a big ass wall.
  9. voodoo lady turning into a skyscraper and exploding into crabs was one for the ages
  10. Instead of a pointless remake of The Raid(which is basically guaranteed not to be as good) they should make a sequel to Judge Frowny Face.
  11. Make Hugo Weaving the main villain in Chapter 3 Continue The Matrix reunions
  12. I read the (great) book and stayed away from this one when it got panned lol. From what I've read the direction is terrible and the screenwriter didn't know how to balance the dual plot lines. Shame because not many books or movies truly capture just how horrible Stalinist Russia was and story really did. I think this one really needed a Spielberg or something not some B-movie director. Apparently Espinosa's first cut was nearly 6 hours long so the guy really had no idea what the hell he was doing http://deadline.com/2015/05/child-44-box-office-bomb-tom-hardy-soviet-noomi-rapace-1201419112/
