  1. They're really veering away from the books now, huh? I'm not sure what to do after this season.
  2. I grew up in the town next to Haverhill. We still go out downtown there a lot, I wonder if JLaw hit up The Barking Dog lol.
  3. So good. But it didn't scare me too badly. Creepiest part is when the old guy nonchalantly walks into the room behind her friend. LOVE the score. So so so so so so good. Ahh this was just a really great time at the theater. It Follows: The Ultimate STD.
  4. Loved this. Built a creepy, spooky atmosphere that was totally psychological. Sure it wasn't filled with over the top scares and the Babadook itself didn't frighten me too much but in the end it all clicked. Plus, a child actor I actually didn't hate for once! Well, I hated the character at first, but respect the acting. Love how he protected his mom at the end. This is a movie about motherhood.
  5. Been so wrapped up with my new job and life in general, didn't even realize F7 came out this weekend - but HOLY SHIT what a number!
  6. So I got a new job recently but before I got this job I was waiting for over a month to hear back about an interview I had gone on at another company, which I had also interviewed at in October and got rejected then (so this was the second job they called me in to interview for). I found out that earlier this week that the hiring manager was asking about me if I was still looking because the woman she ended up offering the job to rejected it. When she found out that I got another opportunity in the meantime she was all upset. This is the best kind of schadenfreude, lol suck my balls bitch, you wasted 4 months of my life, hope you never find anyone for the role.
  7. Oh I see it's getting a finale special. Well, it's better than nothing.
  8. That's a shame. HBO could have at least given it a 5 episode wrap up season, haven't they done that before?
  9. Gay hookup app. When you start dating a guy you know it's starting to get kind of serious if one or both guys decide to delete Grindr.
  10. Watched the finale after skipping the rest of the season and it was good I feel like that Grindr fight is so real LOL
  11. I know, and they pulled that off despite Shaleine Woodley's new haircut... Minor miracle IMO
  12. Mmm fine but there's something about a mimosa that really speaks to me these days.
  13. Thank you, not sure why everyone tries to cut Mal down to lift Cindy up - they're both their own entities and the less said about Alice the better.
  14. I liked that too. No need to over-complicate the story or reinvent the wheel. We had Frozen, we had Maleficent, we had Brave - I appreciate that Cinderella said FU to the whole girl power movement and went straight for pure, unadulterated fairy tale camp. Nowadays in the age of the thinkpiece, that's a brave thing to do - and I have seen some internet protesting over it, so bravo to Branagh and crew for not caving to the trend.
  15. Loved Cate Blanchett, loved Richard Madden (unf!), loved the step-sisters, LOVED the score. Was a little let down by HBC, indifferent towards Lily James, sad that there were no musical numbers. Where was bippity boppity boop?! Overall a pleasant experience. B
  16. Yes of course, and no shame for it either. Cinderella was fine, maybe it was better made, but that's not enough to trump my Jolie stanning in what will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the most iconic and well received roles of her career (yuck it up, it's true). Plus Maleficent has grown on me since its release- it's not nearly the trainwreck that people here make it out to be and its reception from the general public proves that, just look at the legs. It's nothing personal against Cindy but when you're comparing oranges and tangerines, really what's the big difference?
  17. That's awesome, I would so do a Maleficent-Lucy double feature.
  18. Lawlz and that's without me, I've been busy. Cindy was a cute, simple movie. I was a bit let down by HBC's role, and I wish there had been more singing. But it was nice and made me smile. Can't say much more about it. Richard Madden is hot.
