    11M OS-China is a great hold from last weekend. Heading for 980M OS-China total at least, even with JW coming 980M OS-China 370M China (should be more, but gotta be accounting for the wonky ER) 675M Dom 2.025B total. All the above total estimates could go up.

    IW projections: 2.8M (+100%) 4.5M (+60%) 2.7M (-40%) Round up nicely for that 10M weekend estimate per Disney’s BO specialists.

    Wow, Believer holding really nicely this weekend, gonna pass DP2 in cume admissions soon despite lower start. IW is also holding well this weekend. It already passed 11M admissions so anything more is just extra gravy. DP2 still on course for ~35M+ but 40M is dead. It hasn’t been dropping that good. What’s up with Peter Rabbit lol. Dat increase!

    I hope so. A sub 30% drop post Memorial Day weekend would be terrific. Though anything above 10M is already great.

    Both Ultron and GOTG2 had a 1.4M Thu, then followed by 2.9M and 2.7M for Friday respectively. IW 2.8M Friday falls in the middle of those two, so average the post Memorial Day weekends of Ultron and GOTG2 (11.4M and 9.8M) gets IW somewhere around 10.5M. Terrific numbers as always for Solo.

    The thread title is doing a major disservice to Solo. It’s not simply a “good” drop, it’s terrific.

    We praised great BO performances to high heavens, so naturally we also poke fun at BO bombs and underachievers. Don’t see anything wrong with it. JL was a laughing stock for a while, and Solo failed even more spectacularly than JL, so some ribbing is warranted. And the movie hasn’t been out for a week in US yet, the horse is still alive (barely, but alive, so it’s ok, it can take more beatings)

    Tbf, Barbossa is more of a must see than Magneto vs. Xavier Part ‘I lost count’

    5M make it about in line with DOFP first Wed drop. 5.4M could increase the chance of weekend drop closer to 60% instead of the 65% that DOFP got.

    What’s the current ER for HKD? Infinity War is so close to $20M, I think it’s about HK$5m from that mark.
