Looks good. That spot gonna be the last promo thing I watched for this movie. Only seen the first teaser and this one, so I think I’m gonna go in very fairly unspoiled. I’m excite. -

First time seeing the trailer for this at my 50S showing. I digged it. I think I might go for a watch in theater. -
Oh yeah, forgot HK. I would still say SK show more skewed results. Other franchises like X-Men and DCEU are doing very respectable numbers in HK as well. Speaking of which, any ideas on the presales in Hong Kong, @Proxima Olive?

BLACK PANTHER | 646.8 M overseas ● 1346.9 M worldwide

Brazil is one of the outlier markets where DC is on even ground with MCU though. I’m hoping for $20M or so in Brazil. -
South Korea is the only Asian market where MCU has shown absolute domination among the Hollywood franchises. That’s why I’m a bit skeptical to use SK potential great performance for BP to project to other countries (Asia especially). But great numbers is great news still. Go T’Challa!

A quick look at theaters in my city shows that Black Panther is already selling great for the whole weekend, and it’s only Monday. For example, at Santikos Palladium in San Antonio (one of the biggest in the country) Friday 6:00PM and 9:15PM only has the very front rows left. So at around 85% capacity I would say Friday and Saturday showtimes at the next biggest theater here, Casa Blanca, looks to be around the same as Palladium: front or first two rows left. The Regal theaters chain is doing very well too. Smaller overall capacity compare to the Santikos chain since lots of their theaters utilizing recliner seats. But that’s also why the seats are filling up fast. Showtimes were quickly added too, compare to last time I checked, which was 2 days ago. One of these days I will develop a system for sell out counts in my area lol. One of these days... At the moment though, I can see big numbers here for Panther in the San Antonio area (would not be surprised if Palladium shows up as BP’s Top 10 theaters in Rth’s report later on) Too lazy to look at Samson, but hopefully, whatever massive numbers it’ll be pulling in, will provide that much needed spillover effect for Black Panther. -
Wonder if the Lunar New Years Holidays is skewing the presales numbers a bit. Regardless, that’s still amazing, especially comparing to a Spidey movie in an Asian territories.

But we have UK members swore up and down in the Black Panther main thread that there’s absolutely no buzz to be felt in the UK -
As beautiful as ever. Since she’s Mrs. Grey now, her wardrobe is impeccable. I love it. She’s still the only one who showed the most life in this franchise through movies. I thought Dornan was better in Darker, he was just kinda passive and reactive in this one.

It was okay. I was bored for most of the movie. And the climax was barely a climax (talking about the central conflict here, fyi, those with perverted minds) But I guess it’s a good finale for the fans. Some of my girls certainly seem satisfy with the ending and the trilogy as a whole.

You manage to make sex jokes sound like old dad jokes. That’s amazing
