I didn’t even look at the numbers and comparison’s percentages to other movies. I only look at those mesmerizing Deep Wang gifs that follow each category. Now, I’m not an gif expert, but seems like Deep Wang is telling me the pre-sale numbers are definitely wang-worthy?

I’m going with a big group for a GNO tomorrow. Some girls in my group are seriously into these movies. Bless them. They’re awesome. As for me, I’m looking forward to 2 hours of great comedy. And Dakota Johnson

I’m starting to get slightly more and more optimistic on Panther OS potential. MCU has built for itself a real loyal fanbase and very viable goodwill from audience worldwide over the years. I think BP can really benefit from that goodwill.

Wow great news. I was worrried the all black cast can deflate its potential in SK. But with the established reputation MCU got there, hopefully it’ll balance out. The scenes that was filmed in SK, hope the effort is pay off too. 3M admissions or so would be great.

You effectively raised and then killed my excitement in one sentence. I actually would welcome Hawkguy. Even in a non-ironical way, he’s an important part of her past, and that was established well in the MCU. The other dude, well... you know me.

I’m mixed on this news. Cause I feel like thanks to that douche Ike Perlmutter, MCU was missed out on that perfect opputunity of having a Black Window solo riding the coattails of The Avengers. And thus, narratively, after Ultron, even a movie about her past seems redundant. But I love ScarJo, and her Black Window. And more female superheroes movies (though, technically she’s not “super” lol) is more than welcome! So yeah sure, bring it on.

Ex-File 3 keeps having great holds even sitting at the top with big numbers. 2B+ for a romcom is crazy.

Donnie Yen’s fight scenes with his staff in Rogue One is one of the best (IMO, the best) Star Wars universe has to offer in term of combat sequences. And the funny thing is, Donnie Yen probably really could have did those blind cause compare to other stuff he had done in Hong Kong movies, they’re too easy lol. I grew up a wuxia/Kungfu movies fanatic, and because of that, even though I loved Star Wars, my attachment is more on the story and characters. I always chuckled when people praised and gushed about any of its lightsaber fights. To me, they’re just so pedestrian.

That is just absolutely crazy for Ex-File 3. It keeps increasing on weekdays. Must be something from the movie that connect big time with audience. Holds like this gotta be pure WOM. The Chinese BO has been really interesting for 2017 releases, both local and foreign ones.

Only about 90M more from existing OS markets off of a 16M day it just had? I think ballpark is more around 750M. A local comedy is breaking out big time in China. And with many other local releases still playing and Jumanji coming, I think China total gonna be closer to 50M

What’s OS total look to head toward now? Doesn’t look like it’ll have enough gas to get pass Ultron WW.

Crazy for Ex-File 3! I watched the first one quite a long time ago cause of Han Geng. Didn’t that one gross like 150M or so total only? I still suck at projecting for Chinese BO, so what is Ex-File 3 looking to end with? From daily numbers so far, I think it looks like 1.5B at least? Star Wars just can’t catch a break anywhere in Asia except for Japan huh.

Could Along with the Gods reach over 13M admissions? Its run looks like it has a lot of gas left. Really looking forward to watch it. I love all the actors involved. Ha Jung Woo has 2 box office hits out at the same time sitting atop the BO. That’s neat.

Along with the Gods is the local hit that 2017 needed. It’s been a bit of a down year for them comparatively. They already announced a TV series base on Along with the Gods premise. Seems interesting. What’s 1987? Looks like it’s doing well for itself too. RIP The Last Jedi. That’s just horrid. Star Wars is just not it for SK, and most of Asian territories tbh.

No wonder. With Downsizing and The Great Wall, looked like Matt Damon had found his niche calling. Racist movies for the Asian community.
