    I feel like I should stop watching additional promos materials for this. It seems like the more I see, the less appealing it becomes.

    Simon Pegg aside (I'm indifferent toward him), I'm just not sure I should take recommendation from the living fossil on the subject of modern rom-coms. They Came Together was ok. I like both Rudd and Poehler, but together, they're not clicking all that much to me.

    I like to stan for this series, partly ironical and partly for Dakota Johnson. She's such a bae, I hope she'll get some other big gigs.

    I wouldn't count Trainwreck as rom-com either. It's more of a dramedy (that's a word, right? I'm pretty sure it is lol)

    I am quite sad about the lack of rom-coms in recent years. It's one of my favorite genre. It has mostly been all coms, bit of roms thrown in lately. And when you thought you might get something decent enough, it turns out to be Aloha. So... yeah

    Actually, I take back the "no interesting character" part. I very much enjoyed asshole Vincent D'Onofrio. Shame that he got killed by the raptor. Should have been Pratt/Howard/the kids instead, that would make any of them more interesting to me for sure. I love Pratt, he's charming. But he was so dead in that thing. I blame the poor characterization, he probably tried.

    Didn't know there are so many that passionate about JW lol. It was a bore for me. No excitement, paper-thin plot, no interesting nor likable characters. It wasn't terrible, but it's nowhere near good either. I'll take the other two JP sequels over it personally. By the way, great idea and good list! I really enjoy it so far, both the write-ups and the outrage over the choices of course.

    I agree about the thin-skinned whiners. Sometimes things are fun and teasing yet people are just extra sensitive and couldn't take it I guess. That and also the instigators that kept creating straw man, trying to stir up wars when there is none. Furthermore, one of our our admins (who must not be named) is a DC stan so.........

    I don't mind remakes. But Kevin Hart is a meh casting choice to me.

    So is this the movie that got Fassbender and Vikander together in real life? Trailer make it look decent to me, not particularly interesting tbh. But it has Weisz, so if reviews are good enough, I think I'll check it out.
