  1. I only saw the trailers recently. The animation looks incredible! And I love the unique characters designs too. I look forward to it. Hopeful for a break out.
  2. Way too handsome and way too tall lol. But I'm down for him hamming up the mannerisms and quirks of Poirot. I LOVE And Then There Were None!! It's actually the book I want to see get adapted onscreen for modern cinema the most out of AC library. I think it'll make for a great thriller/crime drama movie.
  3. That's what I figured too. Guardians did have to content with direct competition in TMNT back then (the dailies drops were pretty good still though) whereas SS doesn't, so maybe its daily drops could be slightly better? But taking into account this 2nd weekend drop and the trajectory, maybe not.
  4. Same. I'm intrigued and excited. My AC purist self will be out, but I'll try my best not to be annoying Sir Ken will be the most handsome and charming Poirot yet. That'll be weird lol.
  5. Isn't SS estimate on Sunday already below (though it might be on par with actual) GOTG's 2nd Sunday? I think it'll start falling behind Guardians in dailies soon.
  6. I really like them in Crazy Stupid Love, and I enjoyed that movie overall. Gangster Squad was atrocious indeed.
  7. I found out fairly recently too. It'll be on the big screen. Articles said Sir Ken will be directing and taking on the role of Poirot, the movie slated to release on November '17. It's still in the casting and pre-production stage I think, not filming yet.
  8. He's great! And yeah, he has a really warm and likable presence. His Professor X is like 90% of the reasons I still bother with the X-Men series right now tbh.
  9. Poirot for me. In the detective genre, most idolize Holmes, but Poirot is who I'm down with. I am so excited for Sir Ken's take on Murder on the Orient Express!
  10. I hate it too. But its also the movie thay makes me fall in love with McAvoy. So sometimes, that gives me conflicted feelings.
  11. Ethan is not a problem. CJohn was not either. But he's in higher places right now, and seems to be the corrupted type, so thanks for the warning.
  12. From catching up with some of the thread, looks there's a JB vs. STB going on. How do I sign up? My allegiance is with Trek.
  13. Why are the mods not putting the foot down and stop these tiring circular debates/fan wars lol? From my point of view, there's no more fresh water in those wells, they're all thoroughly poisoned already.
  14. 1. La La Land 2. Moana 3. Rogue One 4. Billy Lynn 5. Silence 6. Magnificent Seven 7. Wonder Woman 8. Kong: Skull Island 9. Beauty and the Beast 10. War for the Planet of the Apes
  15. Great work Kalo! Looking forward to the rest! Lesser Skarsgard is yucky though. Not worthy.
  16. The trailer is so beautiful ??? I must have watched it like 20 times already. Most anticipated winter movie easily. Aa far as I'm concerned, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone should be in movies together as much as possible. Their chemistry is sizzling.
  17. Wow, some of ya'll should read your own posts at least 10 times, or better yet, get someone else to proof read them, before even considering hitting that submit button. Would have saved most of us the secondhand embarrassment from witnessing these posts. Anyway, great overall weekend. Happy about Trek's solid hold. Came a bit late in its run but better late than never.
  18. Train to Busan is amazing, so happy for its success! I love Korean cinema, second best in the world right now IMO.
  19. That seems low for X-Men, thought it was gonna out open DOFP at least. But I haven't bern following trackings and current trends so maybe that number is in line with expectations. Horrible but expected for Alice 2. Watched Apocalypse earlier today. I think the legs will be the typical X-franchise legs, no better or worse. The Nice Guys round two tomorrow. Man, wish it would have done better.
  20. Well....I didn't like it. I love it! Going back for second this weekend.
  21. I have reserved my tickets for Saturday. I am ready.
  22. That's an interesting theory. Heck, I agree with it. I can't find myself supporting Cap even though I'm a big fan of the character. Tony Stark was really sympathetic, not just in the final scene but in the whole movie, and RDJ sold it well. Whereas the character we should be sympathetic to with the tragic past, brainwashing stuff, failed at selling the part. No amount of acting and prettiness from Chris Evans can compensate for that black hole. Another movie from high profile director! Yes! I am ready for some record breaking numbers (for an R-rated movie that I assume it'll be)
  23. The TC will limit the OW number. I'm hoping for great legs.
