    Well he ain't that old I guess, he can probably do 10 more avatar sequels with 2 years apart for each.

    How old is Cameron? Will he be capable of doing all these Avatar sequels in the future given the nature of these movies being pushed back quite a number of times?

    So where does this strike place a director who is also a writer on a movie. Does the Director also strike given the writing side of his career or being a director as well will he continue to write the script himself to keep the production going?

    Maybe the writers who forms the 4% who don't want the strike can work on these delayed movies in the interim?

    Once pre-production is done assuming no reshoots is needed then those movies are safe however movies that are currently in pre-production might have to delay shooting until the strike is over.

    A writer's job isn't over when the script is done isn't it? He / she still has to be present during the shooting of the movie to make changes to the script and dialogue as required.

    Good title, you could've also used "Living life one Derby at a time!" which is a play on the phrase "Living life one quarter mile at a time" from the fast series. @AndyLL
