Just left the theater. It's a fine film, but its length is a massive issue and really bloated the film. Great performances across the board, especially from Murphy, Blunt, and Downey. B/B- Definitely one of Nolan's weakest films, but it is a technical marvel. Emily Blunt's character was the easily the most popular and the one that got the most reactions.

What Nolan has accomplished and he's just 52 is incredible. But yes - he is very weak with female characters sometimes. He showed some improvement in Interstellar but otherwise...meh.

This is why you don't make action adventure movies with a 103 year old leading man. You expect me to enjoy it? Man has had a wonderful life and I hope he makes it to 120, but I will never be invested in him in action movies when my main concern is if he'll crack a rib.
