Alpha
It's that wonderful time of the year where we pick what we want to be nominated for the Oscars. A refresher for how this thread works: For each category, list five nominees (at least three for Documentary and Foreign Film, how many will be decided later on). Do not rank the nominees, they can be in any order, though alphabetical order is preferred. Please consult the FYC thread for assistance if needed. This thread should stay open for about a week, until next Thursday. We'll move on to the tiebreakers by Friday, and then the Oscar ceremony the week after that. These are the categories: Best Picture Best Animated Feature Best Director Best Ensemble Best Actor Best Actress Best Supporting Actor Best Supporting Actress Best Voice Actor/Actress in a Leading Role Best Voice Actor/Actress in a Supporting Role Best Original Screenplay Best Adapted Screenplay Best Original Score Best Original Song Best Cinematography Best Film Editing Best Art Direction Best Costumes Best Makeup Best Sound Mixing Best Sound Editing Best Visual Effects Best Use of Action Best Documentary Feature Best Foreign Language Film

ChD
Reserved. I'll do this within the next 5 days probably in portions. And I'm gonna say that there will probably be a surprise pick in my BP lineup. I reread something and it just clicked for me. Like really, really clicked. Best Picture The Rise and Fall of Julius Caesar Risk Management Three Month Funeral The Rich and Famous Heavy Rain Really happy to see that the movie that clicked was Heavy Rain. Thanks ^^, but I think you're the only one who started liking it enough to put it in it's BP ballot. I'm saying now, I won't make a ballot.
