It's not getting better over there for the late shows?

 

No sell outs for anything for the later shows in the theaters I checked. I'll give them another look in a minute.

And you watched it twice? That's generous.

 

Went with a friend who wanted to see it, and like I said, the movie was entertaining, so I didn't mind watching it again. I'm a  big Star Trek fan, and I quite enjoyed the first Abrams one from 4 years ago. That was something new and fresh. This was not. This was a horrible rehash, that was just done wrong.The makers of this movie clearly did not understand why the previous Trek stories worked.

Irvine Spectrum- 0 sell outs for Trek (they had 2 Imax sell outs last night)

Gatsby and IM3 both got 1 more sell out for a total of 2 each. That's it for this theater. It's 9:00 pm.

Kirk and Spock have only known each other for 2 years or so and have treated each other like complete assholes for the entirety of their relationship, and then all of a sudden the emotionless Vulcan gets all super emotional when Kirk "died"? Did you really buy that? Were you sadw hen Kirk died, right after they showed McCoy injecting Kahn's blood into the dead tribble?

 

If stuff like that didn't bother you, then great. Glad you enjoyed it.
