Punishment
Matrix Revolutions... oh wait, this is best closure Bourne Ultimatum was done very well and I also really like the ending of Star Trek VI
Jake Gittes
I'll admit to enjoying both Revolutions and its ending (with the sun rising). Also, no matter the problems with the Prequels, Revenge of the Sith's final wordless scenes are some of the best in the whole saga - although, ironically, they are great less because they give a good closure to their own trilogy and more because they are deeply nostalgic of the OT and remind us what has yet to happen in the galaxy far, far away. ChD
I loved both the endings of Potter and Batman (The Dark Knight Rises). I think that the third movie of the Pirates of the Caribbean (which, technically was the end of the first trilogy), offered a pretty good closure... Jared Miller
Absolutely The Return of the King. Gets me every single time ("you bow to no one")Also Toy Story 3, Deathly Hallows 2, Return of the Jedi... RotK takes the cake for me though! Very emotionally satisfying ending.
4815162342
I treat Return of the King the same as DH2, it's closure is almost identical to that in the novel, so I can't give it much credit for simply replicating things.
Jake Gittes
It might not exactly be a part of the closure, but I give Jackson a lot of credit for getting rid of the whole Saruman-in-the-Shire plot.

It was too hamfisted in the novel. Pity the Saruman death scene was cut from theatrical release.

RobinHood26
ROTK is too long for me. It's like Yay! We won.... Oh wait why is there 45 minutes left, I lost interest. Still a great film. Jedi is a classic finale though.
