ChD
This is more a question about Netflix. So, I was just wondering the following thing. Netflix isn't available in my country, but I still have the option to log in. My question is: If I would ask a friend from the US to buy me a Netflix account (with me sending the money for the monthly payment), would I be able to use it outside the US?The only thing that worries me is that the IP's might be blocked. Anyone ever done something like this?
acsc1312
I think it's an IP issue. I tried to use it while I was in Japan a few years ago and it didn't work. Try to find someone from the US to lend you their login and try it
rockNrollaDIM
While I'm in Europe I'm using a program called "Hide My Ass" that allows you to use an IP address from another country (US, etc). It's only like $10 a month or something so I'd say it's worth it. Funny thing with Netflix is that I switched my IP to US, and then to UK, then to Denmark, and each country that it's available in has a different selection. DeeCee
What TV shows does Netflix have and how quickly after they broadcast in the US are they available?
Phil in the Blank
You can get around the ip geo-block by using a service such as http://www.unblock-us.com
DeeCee
I know. That's why I asked. I was thinking of going semi-legit.
