I used to really love watching Depp in movies like Ed Wood, Edward Scissorhands, and fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, I thought he did a brilliant job but after Pirates it just seems that he was never able to drop the act and everything he does we get a hint of captain jack sparrow, and it annoys the living shit out of me. it's quite sad when actors/actresses get used up and have nothing new left to offer, from past experiences with drugs and alcohol myself I noticed something similar about where johnny Depp seems to be in his life, but with the many support of fans, friends and family I am sure that he will get over this, so that he can continue to grow and return to his roots.
