It's been a decade since then. Aashiqui 2 was good but both Shraddha and ARK failed to consolidate post it's success, especially Aditya Roy Kapoor.

It's a minor miracle that Aashiqui 2 songs are just as remembered as Aashiqui songs. You can't name a movie Aashiqui 2 and have a bad soundtrack, and they delivered despite the odds being against them.

She wasn't offered better movies, certain producers' favouritism towards mediocre actresses cost her.
