Iirc, for the first time ever, I have seen Monday dropped 79% from Sunday but then I haven't really seen Sunday doing 3x Friday for a film doing over 5cr on 2nd Friday. Crossed $20mn and now fourth highest grosser ever, but Monday has put $30mn in jeopardy. Let's see how late legs are.

Good start for Hobbs and Shaw. Right now I am thinking of M:I-Fallout numbers for it.

₹12.58cr
₹16.58cr
₹18.71cr

₹47.86cr Weekend

Difference being, M:I is more inclined to big cities, Hobbs and Shaw has much more spread business.

Isn't that obvious but I won't be surprised if it don't? Not beating F7 inflation adjusted for sure, i.e. 23cr by next year. Besides, I don't think FF films will open any better than Hobbs and Shaw.

Besides, FF7 and FF8 had holiday release, so will be no surprise if 9 just do Hobbs number.

It's still a spinoff lol, FF will remain the main thing, and besides it now got itself a nice platform for H&S sequel.

Its a shame that there are Fast and Furious films in Top Grossers.:gold:

Though never mind, by 2021, there will be no F&F film in Top 5, most likely not in Top 7.

What will replace them? There are atleast 3 FF movies to come.

It is the biggest franchise in India of Hollywood now that Avengers is gone.

MCU is more popular but i think there's a barrier which they haven't been able to cross besides IW & EG and other than then i can see only Thor 4 putting something.

Other than that it's Avatar 2 and JW 3 out of which later is WOM movie and Avatar 2 might have some buzz.

So FF is the biggest franchise in India now, maybe not in lifetime but absolutely in terms of Initial.
