A Marvel Fanboy
Popular movie review website Rotten Tomatoes will now also start tracking television shows. On Tuesday, the site will launch a separate “TV Zone” that includes a Tomatometer based on reviews of a TV show’s seasons, not individual episodes. Reviews will cover all the new fall scripted series, as well as shows that have aired on... Community Manager Water Bottle Posted September 16, 2013 Community Manager Share Posted September 16, 2013 Interesting. I've always preferred Rotten Tomatoes over Metacritic (who already tracks TV reviews). This is pretty good news.
AniNate
Cool, although I imagine it's going to be far more difficult to get a decent sample size.
A Marvel Fanboy
there are probably not enough professional TV reviews for RT to collect. Edited September 16, 2013 by firedeep
MovieGuyKyle17
I feel that TV shows are harder to rate because their a contiuning series and the quality can drop quick.

Goffe
usually critics only review the first episode of the season, at least on Metacritics
Goffe
I think RT should use reviews from specialized sites (even if less known sites)
Community Manager Water Bottle Posted September 17, 2013 Community Manager Share Posted September 17, 2013 Rotten Tomatoes will update the score as the season goes along so if the critical reception towards a show changes, it'll be reflected. AniNate
Just launched. It's got a much bigger sample for the cable serial dramas than the network shows, but I guess that's not really a surprise.
