So with only 3 weeks down there is still very much all to play for.

Yea, I got my ass spanked this week.

it happens to the best of us Baumer.

 

Although after all the close results of the first 2 weeks I was amazed how big some of the gaps were in week 3.

 

And not always in favour of the player I expected I may add.

2 wins out of 2 [3 wins including the now win gone against Tawassal]. I'm really surprised. Good for me, after my bye next week, I don't have anymore. Even if I do lose at least I can say I was the first person ever to get 100% on 1 question

The 100% was impressive, especially as it was exactly and obvious 100% to score.

 

I can see this league jumpng all over the place over the weeks as people have good and bad runs.

 

With a top 6 finish being good enough for the play offs, it only takes 2 or 3 wins on the bounce for anyone to jump right into contention.

And so week 4 comes to a close and we are down to just two players with an undefeated record, but whjo will they be?

 

Needless to say Machete and Gravity kicked a lot of bottom this week and in addition to that I was not forseeing Cloudy and Insidious finishing so close together. It wasn't the highest scoring of rounds for some/many.

And so the results of round 5 are upon us and wow were there some close results. Sadly there was also another disqualification with a third no show for Godzilla which was disappointing. (this will also create an issue that I will raise in its own post later on...).

BTW, I would like to participate in next year's Summer Game, but my performance in Box Office League is so demoralizing that it will take me some time to recover. 

 

You should never let a performance in one game affect how you feel about another (and you aren't actually doing that badly).

 

In the past few months I have competed in BSG, BOA, Survivor and LAGWG [LA Guy's Winter Game] and my results have been in order of when played:

 

Survivor: Knocked out pretty early on

 

BOA: Came a shock 4th place.

 

BSG: Came a stunning 29th out of about 34 players who played right to the end (and was for the most part running a even more stunning 35th even though only 34 players were playing)

 

LAGWG: Currently in 1st place which while it will not last, shows you honestly never know how your form will differ from one game to the next.
