fmpro
I doubt that's the fully updated number, considering it just opened in Venezuela and it making at least 75k in China on Monday. Not to mention the other 68 territories. That number looks like the actuals after the weekend.China closed on sunday i belive
fmpro
I don't expect 500 anymore. It's a shame that it won't reach a round number, but 490-495 is great nonetheless.I still belive in santa claus and 500 OS for DOFP

DOFP its at a prime position right now, there is no big release until July 11 when Dragon 2 comes out here so it has a broad audience all to itself for 3 weeks, Maleficent is burning demand really fast so that creates a spillover effect for DOFP, World Cup games early in the afternoon, there is a big holiday on July 5th, High school vacations starts this weekend and there is a lot of good will from X Men First Class and Wolverine is a very popular character here. I am gonna predict 12,6 million dollars total for DOFP. Edited June 26, 2014 by Boxx93 of Winterfell

reddevil18
Well, hell, if it can do 10 million more from Venezuela by itself, as you say, then I may believe again. But I think I'd rather be more pessimistic and be pleasantly surprised if it happens. No matter what, this is a huge success on its own, and a fantastic relaunch for a franchise that has tremendous potential once again.

Blackout
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...e-x-men-715153The latest outing in the superhero franchise, Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past, hit $702.2 million in global ticket sales on Tuesday, pushing the combined total gross of the seven films to $3.003 billion. Internationally, the franchise total is $1.7 billion, while the domestic cume is $1.3 billion. Days of Future Past, combining the casts of the the first X-Men installments and X-Men: First Class, has quickly become the top-grossing title in the series. It's also on the verge of becoming the top-grossing film of the year to date, eclipsing the $703.2 million earned by The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the $710.7 grossed by Captain America: The Winter Soldier. 702.2m - 218.6m (Tues DOM) - 2m (Puerto Rico) = 481.6m OS as of Tuesday? Not sure btw. Edited June 26, 2014 by Skybreaker

miketheavenger
Great news! reddevil18
Great news! Who would have ever thought that the day comes where an X-Men movie is the highest-grossing comic book movie of the year (I really don't think GOTG will break out that big). Well-deserved. Though definitely helped along by a shitty Spider-Man movie under-performing. Dang, I can't believe how badly SOny have shot themselves in the foot and how Fox hit it out of the park. I'm saying this, of course, because - despite the similar WW numbers - X-Men has built huge goodwill, taking the franchise to new heights and laying the groundwork for even grander success, while Sony can expect a continued downward spiral and diminishing returns.
Blackout
Screendaily says this is at 478.4m, but also says that Dragon is also at 80.8m, which is only 0.6m higher than the actual updated on Monday at BOM, so I'm not sure which day these numbers are through.
