Empire
While Thor: DW's # is disappointing, it doesn't surprise me. It has been having bad weekdays and I figured BMH would be #1 on Monday.

samsha22
BMH is really performing well...Thor is following the path of MOS. It will be an average grosser by Marvel's post-Avengers standard.
kitik
So I was just poking around rottentomatoes to see how many Christmas movies have a decent amount of early reviews. Two films stood out: -Looks like The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is getting some pretty disappointing reviews. It might connect well with the general audience in the way that something like Grown Ups does, though the fact that its not a straight up comedy could hurt it. Either way, the reviews are disappointing. -On the other hand, the early reviews for Her are through the roof. I was looking forward to that movie, but after taking a quick look at some of the reviews, it looks like this one could be fantastic. It won't make much of a dent at the boxoffice, but it'll be a factor during award season.
starkster
I am going to see both TSLoWM(despite what reviews say I am still looking forward to this movie) and Her
Mojoguy
Thor 2 has already begun falling behind the first Thor in the daily numbers. How embarrassing! http://www.boxofficemojo.com/showdowns/chart/?view=daily&id=thorshow.htm
Dementeleus
Thor 2 has already begun falling behind the first Thor in the daily numbers. How embarrassing! http://www.boxofficemojo.com/showdowns/chart/?view=daily&id=thorshow.htm From this point on, THOR made 59m. If THOR: TDW matches it from now on, it will make 206m (and it's already fallen behind weekdays).

If THOR: TDW matches it from now on, it will make 206m (and it's already fallen behind weekdays). So, it still has a chance to gross under 200 mil. And some people were expecting 250 mil plus... It doesn't look good for Thor 2, especially with CF coming out in a few days!
Donar
BMH is really performing well...Thor is following the path of MOS. It will be an average grosser by Marvel's post-Avengers standard. Agreed, but, unlike MoS, it doesn't have (big) competition. So, it's very disappointing.

How embarrassing! http://www.boxofficemojo.com/showdowns/chart/?view=daily&id=thorshow.htm weaker weekdays are understandable because of the increased family appeal but it certainly isn't helping especially with CF about to steal its thunder
