Have been rewatching "The Wire", got to this episode today and this scene is just a showcase for both actors considering the hidden motives of both of their characters at this point in time.

EDIT: Would just be wrong if I didn't post probably the best scene in all seasons of the wire. D'Angelo was probably one of my favorite characters, and the chess scene probably sums up The Wire best.

Haha D'Angelo was so freakin stupid. LOL when McNulty told him to write a letter and he was about to do it when that sleezy lawyer walked in and shut it down.

You know I'm not sure if that's true. Some people like it and some just can't get into it. I remember I was the only in my circle who watched it when it first came out. Everybody said it was too slow and they were all in love with OZ at the time. Nobody was even checking for it but me. But it was slow but when it took off it was relentless. I thought the final season was a let down though.

Season 3 of The Wire for me. It felt like the natural culmination of everything the show had built up to - if The Wire had ended after 3 seasons, that would have been a pretty satisfying ending.
