PatrickvD
The problem is that I've never heard of these characters. I'm not sure if many overseas audiences have to be honest... I think $300 million might be the ceiling for this one. It doesn't have the appeal of The Croods... Omni
Yeah, looks like anything above 200M OS isn't going to be easy to reach.

Leyla
[*]Fox International reported that DreamWorksAnimation’s Mr. Peabody & Sherman grossed $15.3m from 61 markets to reach $85.6m, led by a number three hold in Russia on $2m from 2,016 for $8.4m after two sessions. The family release took $1.5m from 540 in the second weekend in Spain for $3.7m and $1.5m from 982 in Germany for $6.1m after three. The Italian debut generated $1.2m from 603 for number three. A Marvel Fanboy
The OS number for this movie is surprisingly poor, even comparing with its already underwhelming DOM performance. Even Turbo and Guadians both reached 200m OS, this will not.
JCS
The characters are not known outside the USA, so poor OS.
edroger3
Mr. Peabody & Sherman disastrous opening in Italy: 811K$ 4-day weekend. Another animated flop after Lego Movie. No interest, no word of mouth: regarding animations here everyone keeps talking about Frozen.....
Omni
Looks like a sub-300M WW total is likely.
CJohn
Completely tanked over here. Bombed would have been a kind word. Just 17500 tickets sold on the first 4 days, should reach 20000 by Wednesday. In comparison, Lego sold 47000 tickets on his first 4 days, and 105000 on the first 7 days. That had kids out of school (and it was just 2 weeks ago). Using more examples, Ralph and Rise of Guardians both opened outside of holidays and opened with around 27000 tickets sold each. Gnomeo & Juliet, which opened in this weekend 3 years ago, sold 23000 tickets on his first 4 days.
bapi
Only Australia and Japan (November) left so just can't see that crossing 300M. And I read it would write-down 84M with 310M WW finish...

BadAtGender
Australia,Japan,China and South Korea. That could get it to $200m. Not guaranteed, but not impossible, either.
