Yes, Thor had 3 nationwide public holidays in its first week.

ok serious though...  I can't wait too... in fact i might just rewatch the first film again soon... need to get myself back up to scratch in time for the film (though i've read all the books anyway... so i'm super excited!)

That's an excellent hold for TDW.  Over $1.3m above Thor's second weekend.  It's pulled further ahead now.

My sister saw Gravity today and loved it.  My parents are off to see it tomorrow.
