Hyein Park, story artist and voice of Abby in Turning Red has apparently left Pixar? I saw someone on Twitter imply this was voluntary but I don't know how to confirm that. So this might be a layoff result.

As expected. Pixar will have two movies in 2026, so it stands to reason that only one will be released in 2027. I don't think there has been a Father's Day weekend without a Pixar OW since 2014, outside of pandemic years...

 

Oh yeah and 2019 when Toy Story 4 was released the following week.
