HTTYD2 has no excuse not to open well and have long legs.  It's the only big animated film of the summer, first animated movie (not counting Oz) since Rio 2 , it has dragons and the first was loved.  Aside from adults who enjoy it, parents will probably be taking their kids to over and over all summer.

I want it to open to 100 million, and then see crazed reactions from fundies, about the gay character.

Looks like CA2 didn't get any DF with Malef.  And another week to catch that darn LEGO.

 

Yeah.  So much for a needed DF boost.  Maleficent got mixed with Blended.  And the Blended dropped relatively softer than most of the holdovers.
