There is no point in trying to justify Dragon's numbers anymore. A 50% drop on a dead box office weekend, when TS3 dropped 46% with an opening nearly 2.5 times as big and slight competition for Grown Ups, is just awful.

 

Also, 22 Jump Street plummeted from estimates again. Fuck this weekend.

Not everything is bad. DOFP, EoT and especially Maleficent had another pretty good hold.

Too bad EOT wasn't marketed better

The ironic thing is that this kind of resembles WB's last year. They did a great job marketing their franchise reboots (MOS and Godzilla) but did a poor job with their original properties. And that's although the original projects got better reviews.

Imo whats sad is that some people refuse to comprehend that critics dont determine box office.

Meh, but if you look around here, most people (not critics) would prefer several other movies than Malefishit

The second one was better because it was more fleshed out, but both were pretty amusing

 

The first one was just part of an episode, the hurricane one was a skit hence why it was more fleshed out.
