Cochofles
How did Hemsworth get there? Is that backend from THOR or something?

Crusader
Umm all this money is for movies that came out in 2013 for which some of these actors got a backend deal, movies that came out in 2014 that already made their money ( Non Stop ) and movies that are gonna come out in 2014 for which they got their upfront salaries right ? Otherwise this makes no sense
Hatebox
^ No idea. The article is really vague. But it does note that Jolie, the highest paid actress, wouldn't have made it into the top 10.
DeeCee
Here's an interesting list. http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2014/07/22/the-worst-movies-starring-forbess-highest-paid-actors-of-2014/?tid=hp_mmWhich director shows up twice?

Will Smith had a megaflop last year and is not working at all.Brad Pitt had his biggest hit and is not in the list.
Clef Ment
How did Cooper get there? By being awesome. Crazy amount of money in this top 10, more than I will probably ever earn.

The Futurist
Bradley Cooper that high is really the biggest surprise of this top. More than Leo ? Impressive. Thor also, I guess Marvel is starting to spread the wealth. FYI, the highest paid actress for the same period is Jlaw with 34m which would make her ninth on this top. Surprised Vin Diesel is not in the top, he must have made shitloads of money with his Fast & Furious 6 & 7 and maybe 8 contract.
Hatebox
Forbes are pretty reliable when they come to this stuff (it's all the publication exists for really) but it is maddening how sparse the details on the said millions are. Did Cooper just get a shit load of residuals from the Hangover 3?

No doubt a large part of it comes from Hangover 3 but 46m still seems a lot for him.
Sam
Looks like RDJ and Chris Hemsworth got paid well on back-end deals with their respective MCU franchises.
Moviedweeb
No doubt a large part of it comes from Hangover 3 but 46m still seems a lot for him. He was paid $15m for The Hangover 3 alone and that doesn't even include the backend. WB didn't know they had such a massive hit on their hands and didn't contract the actors for sequels when they made the first one, so the stars were able to get massive pay increases for the 2nd and 3rd films.
