Good jump. 64.5% despite losing almost 10% of theaters. Expecting a nice bump today.

77.6% jump. . Good to see its finding its audience. I saw this movie last weekend. Easy going movie. Not exactly as much good porn as Chef but still a nice movie to watch.

The most satisfying BO runs of the year so far: GBH grossing almost 60m, CHEF grossing almost 30m, BOYHOOD grossing 12m and still growing strong. I'm also happy 100FJ looks like it might be able to reach 40m. Those are all tremendous successes. Disappointments are THE RAID 2 and SNOWPIERCER inching past a mere 4m, and LOCKE never really getting the platform push it deserved.

not enough explosions

more explosions a movie has..more theatres it'll open in

for example if Transformers 4 had 4000 explosions it'll open in 4000 theatres

 

boyhood only had about 700 explosions..not enough..Michael Bay should have directed it

771 theaters is very easily available to the public. It's just not playing at every single theater, including the smaller 2-4 screen theaters.
