xube
When I first noticed this film a few months ago, I had some overly optimistic hope it could be for Brosnan what The Rock was for Connery(A pseudo-Bond sequel) . I guess that hope was severely misplaced, since this is apparently no better than a Straight-To-Video film that got a wide release on his name alone. Didn't Brosnan already have his "The Rock" quasi sequel movie moment ("The Thomas Crown Affair" says hello)?

ecstasy
Apparently a big enough deal that they already had started moving forward on a sequel. http://www.latino-review.com/news/relativity-studios-greenlights-sequel-to-the-november-man I swear I've never heard of it. It opened last night to $862K, coming in No. 5 among the midweek numbers, but could come in the Top 3 this weekend as this summer winds to its end. It received a B+ CinemaScore last night, which usually translates into a little over a 3 multiple. Relativity acquired November Man for roughly $3M and is expected to be a modest opening — somewhere in the $9M-$12M range the distributor hopes — as it swings into 2,750 theaters this weekend hoping to get interest from older audiences and make a little profit. It was produced via Irish Dreamtime and Das Films in association with The Solution Entertainment Group (which is overseeing international and Canadian distribution) as well as Palmstar Media Capital and Merced Media Partners. kitik
Good info on November Man. It looks like a very low-risk acquisition from Relativity. If it can do well enough overseas, the folks who made it still may want to go forward with a sequel.
