Decent little flick but nothing great. It has some jump scares but that was about it. Took a while to get going and I personally wasnt crazy about the happy ending.B-/C+

Nice premise wasted. And it was going so well (annoying heroine and shaky camera aside) until they got the stone. From there the movie fell apart so fast that by the end my head was reeling. I did like that not everyone died though. That was a nice twist for the found footage genre.

Yeah the more I think about the movie, I may drop the grade.  You may be right about the ending too.  But for some reason when I was watching it, it just didn't work for me.  I guess the last scene of it going back to the beginning made it seem like them all dying, or at least the main girl dying, made more sense.

Nope. This is bad stuff besides the last 20 minutes until they pull that WTF LOL conclusion about the Stone.

Part of my after-party Halloween marathon: awesome movie. One of the best and most thoughtful horrors I've ever seen. Great premise and quite philosophical at parts. Also liked the Dante's Inferno references and the Stone plot. The marathon contained 4 movies from 00:00 to 7 in the morning and the theatre was absolutely 100% packed. The audience seemEd to enjoy it A LOT, maybe the best of the 4 movies.

 

The fact a lot of us were quite drunk may of also helped. It was kinda trippy.

This movie surprised me. Pretty entertaining stuff (like a horror version of Indiana Jones) up until they enter "hell", at which point the movie falls apart.
