Heat Vision
TLM is still in theaters, but WB can't expand Godzilla or some shit it again to beat ASM2? BYE.Godzilla would also make more than TLM at this point.
kitik
TLM is still in theaters, but WB can't expand Godzilla or some shit it again to beat ASM2? BYE. Look at how mediocre the DOFP expansion was. Godzilla is too far behind to catch it, and nobody really cares about passing TASM2 anyways.

TalismanRing
TLM is still in theaters, but WB can't expand Godzilla or some shit it again to beat ASM2? BYE. Godzilla ticket buyers evidently don't buy nearly as much candy and popcorn as LEGO patrons.
kitik
Could Guardians theater count possibly increase again this week? I mentioned this in a different thread, but 2 of my local theaters here in town are pulling Ghostbusters off of their premium format screen (XD screen) but putting it on a regular screen instead. And they're both giving those premium format screens back to GOTG. Now that's not a theater count increase or anything, but it actually is getting about 7-8 extra showtimes here in Toledo compared to this past weekend. Here it is very common since many years... I'm asking so I can try to find a movie with similar numbers to compare it to, so a start day might be helpful if it is a new thing

terrestrial
GotG Tuesday's $1,387,915 minus 22% (worst of the big openers this year, partly in school free time I think) => Wednesday = $1,082,573.7 IM 1 had $1,312,678 at that Tuesday, with only a very small drop, so I am guessing for now = no cheap Tuesday before that Wednesday.... TalismanRing
Godzilla is actually playing on more screens than the Lego Movie right now. Is it? It hasn't even shown up on the w/e numbers yet- WB is dragging their heels in reporting. Also, LEGO has been out about 4 more months and is on DVD. terrestrial
That's weird to think that MoS could only muster another $9m in the next 64 days after that.Guardians will make another $9m in less than a week. O mei, I read sloppily and thought he speaks of Iron Man 1 as I did. Man this, Man that, the mind already pre-focused... not a good idea to read it fast. So it runs for today before both movies but tomorrow the daily for IM 1 will be better again, but not the the day-to-day sum edit: MOS had at that time already rather deeper daily results, so the decrease 'angle' on a 'draw-chart' should look way steeper running down Edited September 3, 2014 by terrestrial

But just because they're not reporting it doesn't mean it's not playing. So odd though when they're reporting LEGO down to the last penny. But then Disney did the same with FROZEN
