It should be a leggy WOM hit. KFP3 has no competition and it's the last weekend before Zootopia takes away most of its screens. If it does $14.8 million this weekend, $11-12 million is plausible considering its WOM

KFP did 2.875M yesterday so the roof for this weekend is 10M or so. Edited February 20, 2016 by WrathOfHan
Maxmoser3
The potential kiss of death weekend #2 of 2016. Openers only(February 26-28). Gods Of Egypt:11.2 million, Eddie The Eagle:9.5 million, Triple 9:5.3 million.
SWXII
TFA is no longer in top 5 on MT last I checked. Dropping like a regular movie suddenly. 930 off the table by March. Needs a 2017 release with added cuts. That would assure it crosses 1 billion Dom.

Maxmoser3
February could be quite solid this year! The first quarter could be slightly ahead of last year.

Outrageous!
Nobody has been bold enough to predict an opening in the single digit millions for Gods of Egypt, yet? Then I guess I will so that there will be a prediction for that, in case it does happen. The last two movies I can recall having as much negative advance buzz as Gods of Egypt currently has were Fantastic Four and Jem and the Holograms. What happened to both of them? They both opened lower than what the early projections had them doing the days before. Because of Deadpool, I will not be surprised if there is a repeat of the October 23, 2015, weekend, where all the new releases flop in favor of the holdovers. It will be expected for Gods of Egypt, but I think bad timing might be the cause of the other two, opening in Deadpool's historic shadow, even in its third week. Gods of Egypt: $7 million (less than half of what The Wrap has of $15 million) Eddie the Eagle: $5 million Triple Nine: $4.5 million

I think you're a bit low on Eddie though; if Race could do 7.3M, Eddie can match that with better marketing.
