That seems to be typical for the post-Presidents day weekdays. LEGO, Frozen, and The Nut Job were all up over the previous week last year.

 

That's because the pre-President's Day weekdays tend to be deflated for family films. Spongebob was down Tuesday last week.

Certain school districts in certain parts of the country seem to be taking off certain days this week either due to Fat Tuesday/Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent (e.g., Catholic schools in places like Louisiana), or the Lunar New Year (I think that's happening in San Francisco?). Could that be why family films are up so much on the weekdays?
