Why is anyone freaking out over midnights with this? It's all about the legs. This is going to have great WOM and after FF bombs next weekend, there's nothing but a barren wasteland in front of it until October.

September 18 has three decent looking films, but yes if MI5 gets $50 million+ OW it should leg it's way to $150m+ DOM due to small competition for the most part

Thanks. Dawn did 4.1 + 23.64 on Friday. So rest of the Fri was 5.77x the previews.

Considering MI5 had 3 more hours of previews, would expect ~4.5x more on rest of Fri.

So 4*4.5 + 4 = 22m

$4m is REALLY strong. Just look at WWZ and ROTPOTA. And despite this being a franchise, Tom Cruise films play well through the weekend. I am feeing pretty good about $60m actually. Shows only started at 8pm as well.

That tracking is what caused Paramount to basically go into panic mode and actually start promoting the movie. They even removed all embargoes and started screening the movie all over thanks to it.
