Wednesday #s: Compton 5.15 (-29%)

Recommended Posts

BoxOffice.com is predicting $32.5 million for Compton this weekend.

I can definitely see it.

$5 million Thurs

$10 million Fri (due to theater increase)

$13.5 million Sat

$9.5 million Sun

$33 million 2nd weekend. That'd be just jawbreaking... especially since a $60 million OW should have locked a 50%+ drop. $118 million after 10 days. With a conservative 2.5x from $33 million, Compton would end up at exactly $200 million DOM

IMO, which is probably wrong, I don't think it comes anywhere near that.  I'm betting it drops another 10% today and has smaller gains on the weekend.  So if it is at around 4.5 today, just spitballing:

7.85 (+75%)

11.0 (+_40%)

7.7 (-30%)

26.55

Lots of marketing speak here, not sure what this means, but sounds interesting: http://www.tvmediainsights.com/highlights/rentrak-teams-up-with-movietickets-com/

Sounds a bit too dangerous to me. Too much made for a certain audience / money making .... (I am aware about the business wanting and needing to make money, but those tools might inspire even more non-creatives... to play being film-makers in a way.

Thanks for the info :)

What I really miss here are e.g. an obvious to understand question mark smiley, like

I have no idea what this tweet is about

(I do not like the wt... smiley)

Thumbs up & down I'd also love to use as smilies

It's a joke about the sign looking like a game (football, baseball, hockey etc) score and in this case it would have been a close game since the score was (MI) 5 to (Fantastic) 4.
