Goffe
It starts strong, stylish cinematography and atmospheric score are enough to entertain me for a while, then it falls apart around the 40 minute mark, the plot becomes extremely unfocused, repetitive and redundant. Honestly, it feels like a girly fanfiction "Vampire The Movie - Tumblr edition". Sensible hot guys, dreamy homoerotic vibe, thinly plotted and complete lack of knowledge of what makes a good story good. It's all there. 3/
Dementeleus
Perhaps not surprisingly, I disagree with Goffe. It's a reasonably solid adaptation of Rice's famous first book, and even the stunt casting of Cruise works far better than anyone could've expected.
Jake Gittes
Kirsten Dunst gives one of the best child performances I've seen.
Goffe
yeah Kirsten Dunst is pretty amazing, I didn't know a child could act that good.

Spidey Freak
ROFL at this epic Anne Rice turnaround on Cruise's casting as Lestat: http://www.angelfire.com/ri/cerat/AnneOnTom.html
IndustriousAngel
It's been some years since I saw this but from what I remember there were scenes that worked extremely well while others were a bit embarassing. Overall a good movie with some very intense and/or stylish scenes.
Maxmoser3
This movie is overrated the special effects were alright but nothing to remember. The acting wasn't that great. Really dull not a whole lot to it, I prefer Bram Stoker's Dracula over this any day. Grade:D-
Catty
ROFL at this epic Anne Rice turnaround on Cruise's casting as Lestat: http://www.angelfire.com/ri/cerat/AnneOnTom.html Oh I agreed with her - I was furious when Tom was cast but he nailed that part - he was the Lestat I pictured when reading the books - never doubted his acting chops again!!
