TalismanRing
Guess Disney don't care to get Avengers to 460m They've even barely expanded it into 2nd run discount theaters. I assumed they were holding off because of the larger expansion but they've now done neither. Odd.
TServo2049
$460m is to AOU what $260m was to CA:TWS.
movieboner
Inside Out had the highest gross per theater count for the past 3 months, can it make $10 million+ this weekend?
mahnamahna
Inside Out had the highest gross per theater count for the past 3 months, can it make $10 million+ this weekend? Probably not. I'm guessing $6.5-7.5 million for the 4-day, since it is a very large expansion and families have very little to go see, currently. As low as $4-4.5 million wouldn't surprise me, and as high as $10.5-11 million wouldn't, either. Personally, I think Compton and War Room will be the only films going past $10 million this weekend. MI5 could possibly get past $10 million over the 4-day, too. Anything to get IO past $350 million DOM
RthDeadWov
I wonder if someone at Disney noticed the gap between IO and Minions through the same point was getting a little too close for comfort again and freaked out with that TC expansion. How else to explain that? Not that IO wasn't still going to win either way of course, but Minions was closing the gap through the same point by 10m this past weekend. LOL, Might be trying for Canada as well seeing Minions is way ahead there
RthDeadWov
why? 3,434 screens that's useless this is going to flop badly. Transporter flaccid felt the cold in Aus, not wide release but ranked #12 on OD $300 thr Avg

Wrath
It'd be nice if MMFR decided to reappear around here. I mean, really? Dope is getting screens? Why does that seem like a good idea?
