The book is beyond bad. They make some good changes using the basic plot points of it.

Would you say the movie is more like Divergent movie (dull but not overly bad) or Insurgent (it gets its own identity but is a bit weird)?

I would put it in the same level as Divergent (runtime could be shorter, the first half of the movie becomes boring). I enjoy Insurgent a bit more, the movie doesn't drag and it is the one with more set pieces/action (especially the dream stuff with Tris to unlock the message, that part is awesome, IMO). I like all 3, tho.

I saw the latest trailer in front of 10 CLoverfield lane. it looked entertaining enough to me. I thought Divergent was okay and liked Insurgent quite a bit but, I probably will wait for dvd to see it though, too busy with school and starting work this weekend. plus BvS is a priority.
