YM!
Assuming Y6 will open in May/June, I should have at least two to three majors up on the board: Writing order: 1. Tintin 2 - easiest to write, and I have an endgame planned 2. Blue and Gold II - have the opening all fired up 3. The Music In Me 4. Mario 5. Phoenix or the Boden/Fleck film 6. Eyes Also I have a secret project but I can’t reveal that til June.

4815162342
still searching for other options for the lead for TLP. But 25-27 year old guys that are notably over 6 feet tall are difficult to come by. Other than Ansolo

Reddroast
24 minutes ago, cookie said: So I’m thinking of doing a few alterations to how I approach both my writing and review processes for the coming years: Since the rest of April is virtually empty for me outside of going to Copenhagen on the 24th to see Avengers in IMAX, I’m going to try and use that time to write everything I can. Right now I have three movies I want out in Y6: Voltron 3, Scrooge 0.5 and DragonBorns. The last one is the least necessary to get out since as a franchise starter it can wait, but I want to get ahead on my Y7 projects (V4, TSW3, Paradise, Scrooge 3 and Zelda) simultaneously, so were it not to happen in Y6 it’d risk going in the backburner, which is not good as I feel I need more original properties. What I want is to have all three in something that resembles a finished state when Part 1 starts. Scrooge is probably the easiest to make happen since it’s so far along already - I need to work a bit more with the film’s shift towards sincerity in the second half, but I have a strong enough outline and the comic source to directly draw from that it shouldn’t be a big hassle. If I do get all three finished in good time - and that’s a big if - I want to spend the rest of the time preparing my Y7 stuff on the sidelines, while reading as much of what’s been posted as possible so I have a head start on reviews. Speaking of reviews, Cookie’s Corner will be more kind and constructive - and analytical if I feel like it - than it’s been in previous years, continuing Y5’s slight trend but full on this time. I explained in the last edition that my older reviews have not aged all that well, and the negativity kinda started to take a toll on myself after a while so I don’t want to return to that well. I mean jokes and commentary will still happen, but they’re only for entertainment’s sake - If they come across as critical, I don’t mean to be that. Final point: In order to encourage myself to get my ass off and actually work on delivering these things, I’ve already handed out pre-read privileges to five of them. I’m going to extend that to all eight. These are the ones I’ve promised already: Hide contents @Spaghetti and @YourMother the Edgelord - Voltron: Galrazaal (Y6) @4815162342 - Voltron: Rift and TSW3 (Y7) @Rorschach - Project Paradise (Y7) @Slambros - DragonBorns (Y6) The plan is to keep all of you updated on the writing process, and I may post some excerpts and/or outlines just for quick feedback - Numbers is getting those cold opens I’ve promised. This leaves open season on the final three, provided you’ve read or will read the predecessors to the former two: The Argonaut of White Agony Creek (Y6) A Crackle in Time (Y7) The Legend of Zelda: Secret of the Guardians (Y7) I'd like a look at zelda
Rorschach
I’ll start officially writing when I’m done with actuals, but at the current moment, my order of the films I plan to start writing is: 1. The Matt Reeves flick 2. The Rescuers 3. Penpal 4. My Hero Academia 5. A Trip to the Moon/Expedition Everest

Ezen Baklattan
I’m going to a convention with some friends, but this weekend I’ll alternate between writing Sp4rk and watching My Hero Academia. My goal is to have a first draft for the former complete before I see Endgame.
YM!
I’m going to try to get some of the OSCARS writing done this weekend. But to be honest, I really don’t know if I can do it this year. With finals and exams on every corner, I feel overwhelmed at times but I’m going to try.
