I'm a little happy about this because I had a plan in my head to cast Amy Seimetz (Alien: Covenant, Pet Sematary) in the role of the "Wii Fit Trainer". Ezen Baklattan
Yeah, JJ is admittedly a joke franchise so using it to hamper real films would be kind of a dick move.

cookie
Introducing the world of... DragonBorns (continued below) Spoiler DragonBorns is an upcoming fantasy adventure directed by Aaron Ehasz of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Dragon Prince fame, budgeted at a price tag of $175 million and has an expected release date of sometime in Year 6. The film stars Olivia Cooke, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Shameik Moore, John Oliver, Ken Watanabe, Marisa Tomei and Bradley Cooper and features the voices of Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Emily Blunt, Peter Capaldi, Brooklyn Prince and Jason Isaacs. Setting DragonBorns takes place in the fictional city of Apparat, a Mediterranean-esque city (similar to Dubrovnik) surrounded by thick mountains and forests to the north, east and west with a vast ocean to its south. Many centuries ago, dragons burst out from beneath the earth led by the fierce dragon king Iblis and conquered everything in sight. All hope seemed lost for humanity until a group of dragons defied Iblis and sided with the humans, casting a spell that would not only sacrifice the power of flight for them but for all dragons larger than a certain size, including Iblis. However, the dragons would regain their ability to fly if a human bound to them mounted on their backs. With this new ability in hand, the dragons and the humans together defeated the crippled Iblis and drove him and his legion back beneath the earth for which they haven't emerged from since, even as rumors of Iblis's return continue to persist. The dragons that remained made peace with humankind and a society where dragons and humans depend on one another was born. Dragon Classes In Apparat, dragons are divided into separate classes depending on their size and function: Emperor Dragon - The highest class of dragons, known to grow to sizes over one hundred feet. Emperor Dragons serve as protectors of the city, but does not possess the ability to fly without a Rider (see below). Each Emperor Dragon does have the ability to harness a specific element of which no other dragon cannot. Currently there are four Emperor Dragons acting as guardians of the city. Major Dragon - The middle class of dragons (some grow as large as tanks but most are around the size of large horses) and also do not possess the ability to fly without a Rider. Minor Dragon - The third and smallest class of dragons, usually around the size of dogs. These dragons possess the ability to fly and often help humans with various tasks. All dragons have the ability to speak and communicate in human language, but humans have no understanding of "dragon speak" in return. Any attempt to share the language of dragon speak has been unsuccessful. DragonBorn A "DragonBorn" is a human who has the ability to mount a dragon and grant it flight, as not all humans actually share this trait. Each DragonBorn is assigned to a specific dragon of either the Major or the Emperor classes. A DragonBorn shares two physical characteristics not found in other humans: A DragonBorn has a birthmark on their right palm that resembles a dragon, and the shape and size of the mark determines if the DragonBorn is bound to a Major or an Emperor class dragon. A DragonBorn does not have human parents. DragonBorns are randomly birthed from dragon egg and possess the physical and mental state of a toddler upon hatching. DragonBorns share no bond with their mothers and will often be abandoned upon birth, resorting the state of Apparat to take them to foster families where they're raised until they're old enough to bond with their assigned dragon. Should a DragonBorn pass away before their dragon does, the dragon will not be able to fly until a new DragonBorn is born and raised. Due to dragon lifespans vastly outclassing human lifespans, some dragons will have to wait decades for their chance to fly again. Master/Rider Master (dragon) and Rider (DragonBorn) describes the relationship between a Major/Emperor dragon and their DragonBorn. Both parties share responsibility during flight, as a DragonBorn must be focused at all times to make sure a dragon is able to fly and maneuver safely. The humans Spoiler Olivia Cooke (By the Balls, Spark: Beyond the Sky) as Adora Adora is the assigned Rider of Strider MoonScale and has just come of age (18-19). She has a very outgoing personality and holds kindness and just treatment of others in high regard, having no trouble speaking her mind if she deems something unjust - a trait that has earned her a few admirers and many detractors of those her age. Bex Taylor-Klaus (Voltron: Legendary Defender, The Scavenger Wars Part II) as Rhona Rhona is the assigned Rider of Ewan ElkHorn. Being about the same age as Adora, Rhona is a very introverted character in contrast, but is not so by choice. Facing the daily pressure of being an Emperor class DragonBorn, Rhona desperately wants to be Adora's friend so she does not feel as alone in the world, but her struggles with social skills and awkward demeanor earns her a reputation as the "weird kid" in class. At the start of the film Rhona carries a secret about herself she struggles to reveal to her Master. (In real like Taylor-Klaus identifies as non-binary and goes by they/them pronouns, but their character in this film goes by she/her pronouns) Shameik Moore (Dope, Artifacts: Zephyr's Crest) as Maxim Maxim is the assigned Rider of Ivan FireBrand. Being Rhona's only real friend since a young age, Maxim has to balance supporting her through her struggles while also maintaining his reputation as the "cool kid" in Apparat. Vested in music and a bit of a ladies' man, Maxim is more outgoing than even Adora and regularly puts on a scene for his own entertainment. Even if he carries a bit of an ego about himself, he remains kind and loyal to those he cares about. John Oliver (Last Week Tonight) as Peter Birdsbeak Real name Peter Addington, Peter nonetheless earned the nickname "Birdsbeak" for being more fond of birds than dragons - and for being sort of the butt of the joke around Apparat. He acts in a teacher role for all three Emperor class DragonBorns on the orders of Commander Hirata, but does so under protest - as his knowledge of dragons is equal to his lack of fondness for them. In his spare time Peter cares for a whole flock of parrots in his home and would rather not let any dragon near them at any cost. Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Godzilla) as Commander Tetsuo Hirata Commander Hirata is the formal human leader of Apparat and acts as the godfather of all DragonBorns, being responsible for making sure they find foster homes and for making sure the relationship between humans and dragons is maintained. Despite his stern appearance and casual wearing of his uniform - Hirata is known to sleep with his Commander hat still on - he is a very gentle man with a bit of a twinkle in his eye. He rarely takes no for an answer, however - especially in regards to Peter's repeated protests. Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny, The Wrestler) as Aunt Annie Real name Anastasia Warren, Annie is Adora's foster parent and has raised her as if she was her own along with a Minor dragon named Mira. While Annie is generally very kind and caring, she has a low tolerance for Adora and Mira's antics around the house and will punish both if either behaves badly. Nevertheless, she is very supportive of Adora and will stand up for her regardless of whoever she's facing - including the Emperor dragons. Bradley Cooper (Silver Linings Playbook, By the Balls) as Jonas Jonas is a former Emperor class DragonBorn - his Master having been killed years prior - who nonetheless enjoys a status in Apparat as a legendary celebrity, making regular appearances at Adora/Rhona/Maxim's school and is admired by basically all - including Adora who sees him as a proxy father figure. Despite his status Jonas is a very easygoing man, even if he has trouble aiding any DragonBorn individually due to scheduling and the risk of said DragonBorn attracting jealousy from their peers. The dragons Spoiler (the accompanying images are only meant as visual approximations and are not affiliated with this project otherwise. All credit go to their original artists) Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Doctor Strange) as Strider MoonScale Strider is the Master of Adora and the most aggressive and perhaps snarky of the Emperor dragons. Harnessing the power of aether, his namesake stems from his scales shining under moonlight. Strider is fierce in combat but also brash and unpredictable, often starting feuds with the other dragons and being very demanding of his Riders - threatening to eat them if they try defying him. In particular he has a longstanding feud with Ewan ElkHorn, in part because of Ewan's relationship with Sephra. At the start of the film Strider has barricaded himself inside an airplane hangar and will only show once he meets his new Rider, which happens to be Adora. Chiwetel Ejiofor (Twelve Years a Slave, Spark franchise) as Ewan ElkHorn Ewan is the Master of Rhona and a very stern and similarly demanding Emperor dragon - who nonetheless tries to be kind in order to impress his mate Sephra. Ewan harnesses the power of water and lives out in the forest by a massive lake, forcing Rhona to take regular trips far out into the woods to meet him. Ewan is often annoyed by Strider and his attempts to "best" him, leading to the two engaging in roaring matches and getting into tussles that have been known to level entire valleys. Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who, In the Loop) as Ivan FireBrand Ivan is the Master of Maxim and the oldest of the Emperor Dragons. Harnessing the power of fire, Ivan stems from an island volcano off-shore but has moved to the mainland so he can actually visit the humans. Despite his age and threatening appearance Ivan is very much in tune with Maxim - or at least tries to be, often participating in his public antics and likes being around humans. His size and carelessness has caused a few problems however and has earned him the reputation of being a "hip but very reckless grandpa". Ivan rarely interferes in Strider and Ewan's feuds, instead finding them very amusing and regularly eggs both dragons on. Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow, The Epsilon Syndicate: Union of Thieves) as Sephra ThunderStruck Sephra, the lone female Emperor dragon, does not have a Rider assigned to her currently, instead hoping one will hatch out of the egg she’s laid with her mate Ewan. Harnessing the power of thunder, Sephra used to live up in the mountains but moved to a cave close to Ewan's lake in order to be with him. Sephra is the kindest and most levelheaded out of all the Emperor dragons, forcing Ewan to be more kind to the humans as well as regularly calling out Strider and Ivan's behaviors - even as the former still tries to flirt with her behind Ewan's back. Brooklyn Prince (The Florida Project) as Mira Mira is Adora's foster sister and a very playful Minor class dragon. She often engages in childish antics around the house while playing with Adora, leading to both being scolded by Aunt Annie. Mira tries to put on a brave face when her "sister" is in trouble, but being a juvenile dragon she does not have much to come with even against other dragons of her relative size. Jason Isaacs (The Patriot, The Scavenger Wars) as Iblis Iblis, known as the King of All Dragons, is an ancient titan - towering over all Emperor dragons combined - that unleashed his dragon army on the world in ages past. Relentless, brutal and showing no mercy for anyone, his defeat was nevertheless a highly damaging one for him. Rumors of his resurgence persist to this very day, but evidence of it have yet to emerge. DragonBorns has a Y6 release date, no exact window has been determined yet.
