Yeah I won't dispute that, but it's an ensemble story. But I think (hopefully) it works out better than CoG which had far too many characters.

Unless they're incredibly incompetent, it should work much better this time now that all these characters are at least (I hope) focusing on one goal, and not spread around doing their own things.

A movie can have a lot of characters but its all about how they're balanced. Infinity War and Endgame had a shit ton of characters to follow but I was never confused about who was doing what and why.

 

If I'm going to be following a large cast of characters then all of them need to be involved in the same plot, otherwise it'll just be a bunch of people running around doing stuff which is what TCOG was, there was no strong throughline tying everything together in that movie. It seems that they've fixed that in this third one so thats a good sign.

With the exception of the climax when everybody finally meet up, which is why that part of the movie is arguably the best.
