Will be interesting to see how the Taylor Swift concert does. Local Odeon is packed and Cineworld is quiet. That’s what they get for being late with the tickets lol. Swift will be number 1, but it looks extremely front loaded near me. The earlier showings around 6-7pm seem to be doing well, but from Saturday onwards it’s fairly quiet. I feel like the cinemas will regret giving it a further three weekends on their biggest screens. It’ll be playing to single digits by November. The writing seemed on the wall with this one - it's an event where people want to see it as soon as it's out, along with loads of other fans. It's unlikely people will be going deep into its run. I suppose the idea of the sets being slightly different each time can help with that, but overall it seems like it would be huge upfront and then drop like a rock.
