I can only look up per film or per week and then manually get the data I'm afraid, can't just sort all records, sorry.

Okay no worries, thank you.

Maybe the daily breakdown of the openings for SW7, Endgame, No Way Home, Deathly Hallows 2, No Time To Die would be good to know. Sorry it’s probably asking for a lot of info to look up so don’t worry if it’s too much.

Good call, very close at £10,834,539 for all films, but this Friday was slightly higher at £10,994,430

Of course, admissions would have been much higher back then

oh. Like that. Then any FRI where Christmas fall on WED or THU be worth.

Unforntunately not many recently

£10m+ for Oppenheimer is insane. Legs will be excellent here too. Might not not quite get there, but can see it going over £50m and edging towards Dunkirk numbers. It will need a great 2nd/3rd weekend hold. Didn't realise Dunkirk only dropped -17% in it's second weekend.

NB - was talking to colleagues at work about Barbenheimer, and definitely noticed the younger (22-30) ones referring to Nolan by name.

Ah this is amazing to hear! I knew I’d never seen a cinema so busy.

Just excellent for Barbie managing to stay flat at that level. Great for Oppenheimer too, what’s the opening record for a film rated a 15?

I think it's The Inbetweeners? Or maybe Suicide Squad?

Had a look and I think it’s Joker, but not sure.

£12.6m Joker

£11.25m Suicide Squad (2016)

£8.65m The Inbetweeners (had an additional £4.57m in previews)

Deadpool was high too, but had £3m+ previews included.

System updates don't allow for me to check older data unfortunately. It's getting refreshed constantly.

Just a word on MI7, I actually find this hold very good despite the sizeable drop. It was already ahead of FALLOUT which had a 66% drop against ANT-MAN 2 and MAMMA MIA 2. So for DR to actually have a better second weekend than FALLOUT vs BARBENHEIMER is amazing. We'll see how the rest of August holds up, FALLOUT had a leggy run.

Dunkirk being a local story, legged like UK films, which they do very long, so I guess that ain't happening. 40M will be an excellent finish I think.

May not be a British story but a TON of British talent and the older audience is obsessed with the war

It will be interesting to see if OP can catch BARBIE. Weekdays should be strong and I think more BARBIE fans watching OP as a double bill than the other way around. BFI IMAX not slowing down in August, run extended.

Next weekend pretty much fully sold out at BFI IMAX, probably need to be adding the morning and midnight shows again if they can

Oppy will have some massive weekdays for sure. BFI Imax alone will be contributing trucks of cash. It's basically sold out for the next two weeks. Even a showing at 8.15 am next Monday has about 3 seats left. Insane.

I think it might be The Batman which did £13.4m OW.

Oh wow! I forgot about The Batman! That’s impressive.

£17.8m for Barbie

£10.3m for Oppenheimer

Amazing. What a weekend!

The Batman was both a 15 and nearly three hours long as well!

For Oppenheimer to beat Dunkirk is super impressive considering it only really had IMAX as its PLF and was 74 minutes longer.

It's interesting that some cinemas can have showings past midnight but on the weekend but others are restricted to 11pm, I'm guessing it's a mix of licensing from the council but also where the cinema is located plus depends on the size as well.
