The openers are quiet. Looks like It Ends With Us will be #1 today

What were Friday's figures.. All holdovers drop 50%+ and newbies opening soft?

Is the National Cinema Day advert playing in cinemas?

Kneecap has a fairly limited release so top 10 is alright, it's been out in Ireland for two weeks.

Yeh it’s doing well, was already at £560k last weekend, it had the cineworld secret screening previews too. The cast and director were at my local art house doing a Q&A the other night to a big crowd.

Not until Monday

Looks like Everyman and Curzon aren't part of NCD again and will have confusion in cinemas when Cineworld advert says all films all day £4 when Andre Reiu is £19.50.

I remember National Cinema Day in 1995/96 when all cinemas were £1 spent all day going from cinema to cinema in Leicester Square seeing old classics, new releases and previews from 9am till late. Both were hugely popular a months cinema attendance in one day. In 1997 it was sponsored by MacDonalds and prices were half price but wasn't nearly as successful.

A £700k start for Blink Twice then, that isn’t too bad. Happy to see Alien Romulus back at #1.

Won’t be going anywhere near the cinema next Saturday lol.

But all films are only 1, 2 or 3 showings a day.

Apart from Inside Out 2 and Despicable Me 4, which are both showing 18 (eighteen) times a day again at my local. Jeez.

Vue were showing it today (Sunday), I saw it.

Was it after 6.00pm? It wasn't supposed to go on until after the official announcement at 6.00pm, but I suppose it might have played earlier some places.

Damn, I wonder if DM4 might be the first in the franchise to break £50m? It's nearly £3.5m ahead of Rise of Gru at the same point.

IO2/DxW are probably gonna both fall frustratingly short of £60m though.

If IEWU made less than D&W how is it in second? Should 504k be for IEWU? Or is it just misplaced?
