Jonwo
Ice Age actually has two weekends worth of previews, that will inflate its takings when its officially released on the 13th July.
CJohn
It is released that late in the UK? We are getting it this weekend
Jonwo
Its day and date with the US, it was originally scheduled for the 6th July but it got pushed back a week, weirdly Scotland are getting it first on full release.

PhilipJ2001
Interesting changes with the actuals. If you take the Wednesday & Thursday off Abraham Lincoln then Men In Black actually won the weekend... five weeks after release!
Jonwo
They really should separate previews from the weekend takings, Ice Age 4 is likely going to have a big OW thanks to the four days of previews but it'll look it made x amount when its officially released. Men in Black 3 will likely end on £22-23m total, very good considering its lackluster OW, its legs has been incredible.
Heretic
When was the last time there was an animated movie?Adding on the previews, the total for its opening could be near £10m.
lab276
It will have two weekends of previews, and both will get added on to its actual OW?
Heretic
Always gets added on but we'll probably know what it did for the 3 day too..I imagine around £6m.
Krissykins
Weak week here in the UK.The weather might not be helping this week either.
SchumacherFTW
Anyone else think the schedules look kinda confusing this week? Monday and friday are the same but the weekend is different, and tuesday's a total clusterfuck thanks to Spidey's evening only launch. Jonwo
I reckon MIB3 will win this weekend but apart from Ice Age which won't be included until it's officially released, there's hardly any films that could attract a big audience, TASM can't come soon enough. Why does TASM have an evening only launch? Would have thought it would have more showtimes given the release date was moved up from its original 4th July slot.
Heretic
Didn't Avengers do that too? The opening Thursday had far less showings than any day of the weekend. Edited June 29, 2012 by Heretic
SchumacherFTW
I think it's similar to how TF3 launched last year with tuesday evening showings.
Heretic
That opened to £10.7m.I'd expect TASM to do no less than £10m then. Below that would be a disappointment, considering Spider-man has always been the most popular superhero franchise in the UK, excluding Batman.
