People are not yet off from work tho (will start after next Wed or Thu). After this weekend, the movie can be 262+ Next Mon+Tue+Wed: 266+ There is a massive anticipated local movie (family drama theme) that will debut on next Sun (take advantage of the whole Lunar New Year week). Avatar 2 will lose majority of its screen (at least 2D) but I hope the movie can maintain the 3D, IMAX and 4DX screens since honestly, it is still the best choice until .... maybe Antman 3? titanic2187 Posted January 18, 2023 Share Posted January 18, 2023 In the upcoming lunar new year long weekend as Monday and Tuesday are nationwide public holiday, Avatar 2 lose big chunk of screen to a bunch local competitors but retain all IMAX 3D, motion screen and premium 3D. Still, most of these local film are targeting local chinese population, so it is fair Avatar will remain key choice for non-chinese holiday moviegoers crowd.
