A Big mistake or incomplete data for Mechamto. The movie already got RM34m by 05 Jan. In fact, the movie prove to be bigger than expected competition to ATOW across end-year holiday season.

I've been wondering, why are A2's numbers reported in this thread for Thailand are very different from the ones on BOM? For example, according to BOM, it only made $12.9M until the 3rd weekend. Meanwhile, they are pretty consistent for the other countries.

I.e. Total as of 2nd Weekend - ฿430M. I doubt they may be reporting what the film is earning only on capital region i.e. Bangkok

But the numbers on BOM don't match the numbers reported for capital region too. I'm just trying to figure out where the numbers on BOM came from.

 

Because based on the numbers here, A2 in Thailand is performing exceptionally well, compared to most countries in SEA, since it's very rare for a blockbuster Hollywood movie to have box office numbers in Thailand very close to Indonesia.

For NWH &Endgame we had same issues, as Studio reported only Bangkok Numbers not entire Thailand. Not sure what's happening but may be @Shanks can clarify. But, here, are the sources from where I pull numbers.

Avatar has some effective marketing campaign in Thailand as they invited multiple local celebrity and social influencers to promote the movie.
