Weekends are not a consistent number of days, the length of what counts towards the weekend is different for each market.

41 vs 78 Ch -47%

430 vs 480 OS-Ch -10%

781 vs 962 WW -19%

 

Dom and OS-Ch can do 10-15 more each for 20-30 more WW.

 

China's -47% is a surprise as it usually holds better than OS-Ch.

-10% like OS-Ch or even -15% could have made 800 a sure thing.

A $40m week is pretty good. Next weekend it opens in Brazil and that will soften the drop, so maybe another $28m next week. Getting closer and closer to $500m OS (would need very good late legs to get there so not likely). DOM is't the place where it's drop was a bit ugly this weekend.

So 37.4 worldwide week, and 26.5 weekend, needs 2.44 multi of last week, and 3.45x of last weekend. It wouldn't happen but OS-China with less than 10% decline is great achievement.

It added 16m more this week down 33.33% from last weeks 24m week. The weekend is down quite a bit more thought at 43.5%.

Last weekend was inflated thanks to Brazil, based on Karen Gillian twitter it was released in thursday 16th january, so brazil had 4-day weekend.

Brazil is always a 4 day weekend

Also I know the reason why week drops is inflate because of big weekdays in brazil Still 43.5% is the drop that we have to look at to predict next weekend 😛

If Jumanji would do another 2x 9.6 it would make 90% os-chi. Another great success.

DOM has had great hold the past 2 weeks. With BOP not looking to do amazing buisness your 315m seems very possible.

JUM2 would need 24 after 6.0 weekend (4x more).

315m dom seems very optimistic for me, and 476 os very conservative.

9.6 OS using 40% drops week to week gets:

$14m and it will probably drop over 60% at some point in the near future because it's close to getting pulled out of theathers in quite a few countries.

As for DOM you say was A2K said, Jumanjij1 had a 4.8 multi after it's superbowl weekend and Jumanji 2 is dropping better domistic in the last few weeks so getting close to that isn't that far fetched. So I think both numbers are fair.
