RichWS
I didn't read all of this thread, but did anyone mention the fact that the Final Four games were on Saturday night as to maybe why films didn't do that great on Saturday?People tend to watch the Final Four games like crazy whether they're a fan of the four teams or not. And those four teams have a massive fan base in themselves. It didn't do that great? It made $25M on its second Saturday. I think people's expectations for this weekend were too high. This was a perfectly acceptable drop for a movie that made $152M on its opening weekend.
cozmeesah
Well, "not that great" was probably a bad choice of words. I meant more "not what people were expecting." And I was talking about the other films too. I'm sure even WotT was affected a bit.
